What do you look for in a Automobile Dealership
Good question right?! Most people would say, "the one who gives us the best deal"! I totally understand this answer however how does a person truly know what the 'best deal' is . . .? Most of us use guides like NADA, KBB, ect to base our knowledge on which are good sources but the truth is that the automotive market changes daily and what was a good deal yesterday might not be so good of a deal today or visa versa????? If I was to give any advice on this area it would have to be that in my opinion every dealership is going to work hard on making the sale! Some might use the motto of "we sell cheap, cheap" or "our prices can't be beat" just to lure you into the door only for you to find out that most of the time there is only a very limited quantity of the 'sale cars', most of the time there is truly only one vehicle for sale at that price??? So most people since they are already there go ahead and take a look at the inventory and usually go the same process as going to a dealership who did no advertising. So my advice is this . . .Do not be fooled by catchy advertising! Research the dealerships around your area and read the reviews that are out there. A good place to find reviews for dealerships is - dealerrater.com, here you can read what other people are saying about the dealerships around your area. My next step would be to truly see what that dealership is doing to give back! You know you have found a good dealership when you are able to see that their community involvment is a top priorty! A dealership who gives back to the community to help people is beyond amazing! You might even be willing to spend a little more money than you may have down the street but in the end you hard earned money is being used to not only get you a beautiful new vehicle but it may also be a huge blessing in someones elses life!! There is no better feeling than that! Hoped this little tid bit of info helps!! God bless!

Salespeople only want sale, not interested in your needs!
Here lies what makes it difficult to be a car salesperson! You see, this reputation began many years ago with the typical 'used car salesperson' image. Add the horrible 'used car movies' to that and even 20 years later, salespeople are still labeled with this bad image! So the question is . . .how do you know when you truly have a salesperson that cares about taking care of every customer and not one who is just out to make a buck? There are a few pieces of advice that I can share that might help you to have a great experience with your salesperson and feel comfortable that you made the right decision with your purchase. I want to start with where I left off on my last blog (Trust) which is if a salesperson goes straight from the curb (your vehicle) to the lot without any rapport building, you more than likely have a salesperson who is lacking the ability or the training to satisfy your buying needs and you will more than likely have a not so good experience! A properly informed and trained salesperson will begin with getting to know their customer before bringing a vehicle up at all!! You might be asking why? I want to reaffirm that a vehicle purchase is the second largest purchase a person makes in their lifetime (home being number one) so even though it might seem a little strange to think that you should get to know your salesperson, you should! If that person truly investigates and finds out what your buying motives and needs are they will better be able to get you to the PERFECT vehicle that was built just for you!!!! The internet has changed the way a vehicle purchase is handled now and the 'good' salespeople out there know this and strive to learn how to best handle every customer because a good experience goes along ways especially with social media becoming as big as it is!! Do not be afraid to be honest about what you are looking for and what needs have to be met and allow your salesperson to ask questions. Trust your gut! If it feels shaky, then it probably is!!! . . .But rest assured that their are many salespeople out there today that are genuine and honest and love what they do! I hope this helps!! God Bless and happy shopping!!!!

Reason people dislike shopping for a vehicle - "lack of trust"
This is probably the best reason people dislike shopping for a new vehicle right? Let me see if I can shed some light on the subject thay may help your next vehicle purchase . . .The first piece of advice I can share would be for you to understand that automobile salespeople are real people with real family’s and if trained right, they will help you and not hurt you. The question might arise that how does a person get to the stage of believing that? I would say that first before you even get to the lot, make sure you do your homework and have a general idea of what you may be looking for and what your budget allows you spend each month! With that in mind when you arrive at the dealership allow your saleperson to get to know you! A professional salesperson will make a great 1st impression and immediately work on building rapport so that they can get a better idea on what your wants and needs may be. A not so good salesperson will lead you straight from the curb to the lot with no rapport building just to try and sell you a car . . .this is your 1st warning sign!! Let’s focus on the professionals shall we! Get to know your salesperson the same way they are getting to know you, a vehicle purchase is the 2nd largest purchase a person makes in their lives (house being #1), and I don’t know about you but if I am getting ready to sign for thousands of dollars of future debt, I surely want to at least enjoy doing it!!!! Always remember that the internet has changed many things in the car business and every salesperson knows this and wants to acquire customers for life and their referrals!! If you are feeling as if their is no rapport building never be afraid to ask for another salesperson who will take care of your needs!
